Constants and gates
Batch S · statics from the winning templates
One ad set, 7 ads: the slop 4 control plus six templates. Body copy is the control on all seven. The read: which image template converts for her against slop 4.
| # | Template | What's on the image | Door / belief | Receipt | Gate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S-CTRL | existing | slop 4 editorial | guilt | — | — |
| S1 | 13 · Minimal us-vs-them Them / Carepod · None of that | LEFT: the phone alarm she already owns, callouts in her words (wakes the whole house · he turns it off asleep · needs him to hear it · six of them by 7am). RIGHT: the band, one line: none of that. | belief #1 louder doesn't work; symptom: turns it off asleep | She will physically get up out of bed, walk to one of the alarms going off, unplug the entire thing then back to bed | generic phone, no Apple mark; no "no screen" |
| S2 | 8 · Indirect avatar TEEN ALWAYS GRUMPY? + hidden cause | Big symptom question naming the reader (ADHD teen sleeps through every alarm?), one mechanism line (teen brains file repeated sound as background in deep sleep; touch isn't sound), product, no sale badge. | helplessness → mechanism; belief #2 | Bruck 2001/2009, general-teen sound gate (SAFE tier) | never "ADHD brains can't hear" (kill list) |
| S3 | 1 · Avatar callout MOMS OF 15 YEAR OLDS + real review | MOMS OF ADHD TEENS (or MOMS OF 16 YEAR OLDS WITH ADHD), a real review screenshot naming an age, the band. | Family frame, Independence payload; scam objection answered by a real face | a traceable review naming a teen's age | review must be real and exportable; age varied across variants |
| S4 | 3 · Stealing credibility Ozempic's New Bestie | Steal from the smoke-alarm fact: over half of kids tested slept through a smoke alarm built to save their life. Under it: sound was never the channel. Product. | belief #1; efficacy doubt 50% | Pediatrics 2022 N=540 / Smith 2006 (substantiation SAFE) | number quoted exactly as substantiation allows; no "clinically proven" |
| S5 | 7 · Relatable hook 12-HOUR SHIFT SHOES. Made for… | SCHOOL-MORNING ALARM. Made for ADHD teens who sleep through everything. Plus-bullets are product truths in her words: wakes from the wrist · builds until he ends it · not a phone, reports to nobody · fits a big 17-year-old wrist · 60 nights. | wear objection 21%; trust | My kid is a large 17 year old. I hope this fits his wrist.· FitSleeps quits after two minutes | fit line only if product-truth confirms strap length; no "no app" |
| S6 | 4 · This is not the product This is a meal. Not a protein shake. | This is not an alarm clock. It's the one step nobody built for his brain. Product, three fact callouts (wrist · builds until he sits up · his, reports to nobody). | Independence payload; the 1 message | the lock-in message | the sub-line must say what it IS in plain words or it flops (the template's own warning) |
Held back, with reason
- #2 Solution exaggeration ("14+ HOURS. NO SWELLING."): needs an outcome number we can claim. We don't have one.
- #5 Specific pain point ("LOSE THE MUFFIN TOP" + price slash): the price-slash device needs the price fixed first, and "stop being his alarm clock" is now HiStrips' CTA.
- #6 Accidental outcome ("I accidentally lost 12 pounds at 52"): needs a real review with a real, odd number. Queue for when the review export exists.
- #9 / #10 Offer formats: offer decisions are yours (2-pack, second band on us: 20% of buyers want a 2-pack, 27% an adult version).
- #11 Bread / breakfast: analogy device; fails the poetry test for this avatar.
- #12 Pubity: not held, moved. It is the native-sign shape, Batch N.
Batch N · native photo with a sign that is the callout
Your format. A real-looking photo of her world with a handwritten sign, sticky note or whiteboard in frame. The sign is the hook, in her or his hand. The body is a short native written through that door. One ad set, five ads. The read: which door's sign stops her on a native image.
| # | Door | The sign (brief-level; Sonnet writes the line) | The photo (rip-first) | Body | Receipt |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| N1 | dread of doing it again | a sticky note on his bedroom door, in her hand: the first day she is not the alarm, dated | a bedroom door in a real hallway, morning light, note at eye height | short native, dread door, control spine | Everyday is like Groundhog Day· I am over it |
| N2 | independence, his side | a note on his nightstand from her: your alarm, your morning, love you | nightstand: band, phone face-down, the note | short native, close on independence | How do I teach them to be independent?· make sure they have all means to do it themselves |
| N3 | helplessness / did everything right | the fridge whiteboard: the list she tried, each crossed out (louder alarm · Alexa · chart · earlier bedtime), one line left | kitchen, whiteboard, coffee cup | short native, helplessness door | I took all of your great advice… WHAT DO I DO?!? |
| N4 | fear for his future | a note in HIS hand on the mirror: a count of mornings he got himself up, and the year he leaves | teen's bathroom mirror, band on the counter | short native, fear door, one verified rung-3 consequence | now as a young adult has been late to work because of the same thing· nearly 40 tardies |
| N5 | guilt for the anger | a note she wrote to herself on the coffee maker: don't go up. it's on his wrist. | kitchen, coffee maker, note, her hand in frame | short native, guilt door (the control's spine) | Coming off of another morning where I lost my temper and yelled… Feeling like I am failing him. |
The feeling or the handoff, never a scene of how she wakes him. ≤12 words. Handwriting, not type. Must read at feed size and at thumbnail. No brand mark on the sign. The band is in frame, never the subject. The photo must pass as a real photo in a mother's feed: natural aspect, EXIF stripped, no product lighting.
Sonnet writes five short natives (180–260 words) from the control's spine: symptom → not a discipline problem → mechanism → what changes → sixty nights → link. Each enters through its door and ends on independence. Validator, said-out-loud, belief check, then you pick.
Batch C · the one copy test kept from v1

S and N live together: two ad sets, $50/day floors, 7 + 5 ads. C follows. Verdict day 7. What we learn: S = which template converts for her; N = which door's sign stops her on a native photo; C = relief close or independence close.
Prerequisites, yours
- 1. A real-review export (Judge.me / Shopify) so S3 uses a traceable review. Without it, S3 is cut.
- 2. Price: fix $39.99 vs $49 before any static carries a number.
- 3. Proof number: one, in product-truth, or none on images.
- 4. Strap length for a large 17-year-old wrist (S5 bullet), from the supplier.
What you're approving
- Image as the variable for S, sign as the hook for N, C as the one copy test.
- The template-to-unit mapping and the held-back list.
- The five sign concepts and their doors.
- The pipeline and the four prerequisites.
